LAWTF is Now Accepting Submissions for Festival 2015

The Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival
is Now Accepting Submissions for the
22nd Annual Festival! 
March 26 - 29, 2015




To submit for Festival 2015, please send a hard copy of your photograph, cover letter, resume, and any additional supporting materials with your DVD and $35.00 submissions fee to LAWTF no later than August 31, 2014 via FedEx or US Mail.

LAWTF is Now Accepting Applications for the Paid Marketing and Development Summer Intern!

is Now Accepting Applications for the
LAWTF Marketing and Development
Summer Intern!



What: The Los Angeles County Arts Internship Program provides 10-week paid summer internships (40 hours/week) to eligible undergraduate college students.

Students are paid $400/week to work in nonprofit literary, performing and presenting arts organizations and municipal arts agencies throughout Los Angeles County.

Interns also participate in additional educational components provided by the Arts Commission. 

Who: To be eligible to participate, students must meet the following criteria: 
·  Enrolled in a community college, four-year college or university program, and have completed at least one semester by June 1, 2014. 
·  Completed at least one semester of college by June 1, 2014or will complete their undergraduate degree between May 1 - September 1, 2014 in order to be eligible to participate. 
·  Proof of residency (state issued ID or driver license) and college transcripts are required. 
·  Interested students are not required to have demonstrated a previous commitment to the arts. 
·  Students must either reside in Los Angeles County or attend school in Los Angeles County. 

Candidates can be sought from all areas of undergraduate study and are not required to have demonstrated a previous commitment to the arts.

All college students regardless of race, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, or disability who meet the above criteria are eligible to apply to participate in the Los Angeles County Arts Internship Program. Students invited to participate in the program must provide a copy of their college transcripts verifying undergraduate enrollment.

Students who have previously participated in the Los Angeles County Arts Internship Program are not eligible to participate a second time. 
When: This internship program takes place between June and August 2014. Interns will work for a specified ten-week period.
