The place to be last night was at Il Cielo in Beverly Hills for our monthly Wine Down Wednesday! We were thrilled at the warm welcoming we received from this classy restaurant with such rich history!
From their days as a hair salon where Marilyn Monroe first became a blonde, to when it was a sleeper bistro with not many diners until Frank Sinatra came in, Il Cielo has had many lives and continues to be one of the most sought after restaurants in the area.
While it might appear small from the front, they boast 4 areas all offering a different dining experience. We were so grateful to set up our soiree in their private bar where we were treated to mouth watering appetizers such as bruschetta and shrimp cocktail, and gorgeous Happy Hour wines like their Pinot Grigio and Cabernet.
Also in presence was Terri Silverman, whom we are thrilled will be leading her workshop, "Identity as an Act of Courage" on April 30th, FREE of charge, for our ENCORE! Day of Theatre at Plummer Park in West Hollywood.
If last night's Wine Down Wednesday left you wanting to have more fun with LAWTF, or if you weren't able to stop by, have no fear as we will be heading to The Xen Lounge on May 18th in Studio City.
See you soon!
